I am a Senior Biomedical Sciences major at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, who upon graduation, plans to attend medical school to obtain his M.D. I am involved in numerous organizations on campus, serving as the President for the Biomedical Sciences Association (BSA) and former President of Tutor For All (T4A). In addition, I am an undergraduate research assistant in the Educational Research field. I previously won first place at the Engaged Scholar Symposium and has presented at multiple other conferences with work under numerous professors at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, as well as the University of Texas Southwestern Graduate School. I joined the Engaged Scholarship and Learning team in May of 2018 and will be serving as an Engaged Scholar Ambassador.
