Laura Amaro is the veteran of the current Engaged Scholarship & Learning (ES&L) team. She has served as our Graphic Designer for four years where her growing responsibilities includes assisting with the development, creation, and dissemination efforts of ES&L marketing materials.
Academically, Laura is a Senior majoring in Graphic Design. Laura is looking forward to her graduation in Spring 2018 when her long, caffeinated nights at the Visual Arts Building will pay off. Upon graduation, Laura will continue to pursue her dream job – “working as a graphic designer for H-E-B Headquarters in San Antonio.” Her interests include exploring design as the intersection of art and design, identifying fonts, annoying her rescued cats, and exploring local diner coffee haunts.
