Goal of BFRI is to increase student retention and academic success in STEM, targeting underrepresented populations in science. By providing feasible research opportunities to STEM students through BFRI, we hypothesized increased retention and academic success in STEM majors. Results shows increased retention of BFRI students compared to non-BFRI students.
