This paper challenges the Stoic practice of negative visualization to find that it distorts and diminishes inherent value of a person/thing. Positive conceptualization is introduced as a supplementary practice to maintain and ensure inherent value in the form of merit-value. A pragmatic approach in research supports this novel practice.
