We administered special feed and monitored food intake of the animals for five months. After sacrifice, we collected blood and the bones for further analysis. The left proximal tibia, distal femoral metaphysis, and 4th lumbar vertebra is now being scanned with a pQCT and Micro CT densitometers for analysis.
