Poster Session D #26 OPA1 is stabilized in H9c2 cardiomyoblasts

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Mitochondria membrane potential maintains its dynamics with interactions between OPA1 and OMA1. Wild type cells after disruption of the membrane split OPA1 to long and short form however cardiomyoblasts cells only show the long isoform. . A better understanding may improve our ability to prevent diseases like Parkinson’s and heart failure.
