Laguna Vista Texas is home to a thriving ecosystem along the Lower Laguna Madre. Treated effluent is emptied into a basin that allegedly drains by means of a channel into the bay; However, the channel is dry. This study traces the effluent and determines its ecological effects along the Laguna.
